FAQs

What kind of projects do you work on?

I develop research-led, site-responsive artworks and exhibitions that emerge from specific landscapes, archives, or collections. These projects are often commissioned by galleries, museums, and heritage organisations and result in installations that bring together sculpture, digital media, and performance. They are typically grounded in a particular place or context, rather than being pre-defined works.

How do you approach a new site or commission?

My work follows a structured process that begins with time spent on site through fieldwork and archival research. I then document and gather material through photography, video, and sound, which is developed in the studio through a period of experimentation. The final stage brings this material together as a spatial installation within the exhibition space, allowing the work to respond directly to both the site and the architecture of the venue.

Who do you typically work with?

I work with galleries, museums, heritage organisations, and public bodies interested in exploring landscape, ecology, and cultural history through contemporary art. This often includes organisations working with complex or layered sites, archives, or collections that benefit from a research-led and interpretive approach.

What does your work offer to partners or audiences?

My work helps translate complex ecological, historical, and cultural narratives into installations that can be experienced physically and spatially. For partners, this offers a way of engaging audiences with place in a more direct and meaningful way. For audiences, it creates an encounter with landscape and history that goes beyond static interpretation.

How can we start a conversation or collaboration?

Most projects begin with an initial conversation around a site, collection, or curatorial question. If you are developing a programme or exploring a potential commission, you are welcome to get in touch via email to discuss how a project might take shape.

Do you work at different scales or budgets?

Projects range from smaller works and exhibitions to large-scale installations and commissions. The scale and scope are developed in response to the site, context, and available resources.
